Viz vs. Tokyopop

Earlier, when Tokyopop first began, they took a lot more caution into their work. As time went on, evident editing problems were overlooked and sometimes, the work would be a little sloppy. Not very professional for a company like that.

Viz, however, is not immune from problems either. Translations are done...but not done right. As of late, jobs feel rushed through. But they still tend to do the job right, even if it is a little twisted.

why not just read the manga on the internet? i mean, i live in the states and wait for hana to yume issuses to be published on online sites and then read them. of course it is illegal but........

Hi im new here love the site for some time but this is the first time a enter the forum not a big fan of them but i kind of like this one...

With the topic im a #1 fan of Tokyopop becase with MixxZine i started to read manga so ill always be a fan. With Viz i hate them why because the change things and put it way american still the names and stuff they change, Tokyopop faster than Viz. If Viz didnt get most of the mangas i want i wouldnt buy from them but they do get good mangas.

And another thing why i hated way worse Viz comics was becase i was a hold year with out being able to get my mangas, a couple of months ago they didnt want to send their GN to Puerto Rico!!! that really made me hate them alot more but there getting in my good side since they return to send them again. Anyway Tokyopop for me is way better... [img]wink.gif[/img]
